Who first lived here and which iconic animal did they share the valley with? What was the village’s role at the beginning of the Apartheid era? Why don’t we speak French in our “French Corner”? All these questions and more answered.

Many of the houses still occupied today have been around for centuries. Learn about the people who first colonized the valley as well as about those that were originally here and see the town with a new appreciation. Easy, non-strenuous walking.
